This policy explains what personal data AI Acid Test (“we”, “us”) collects when you subscribe to the newsletter at aiacidtest.com, why, and what rights you have.

Who we are

AI Acid Test is an independent newsletter and review project. For any privacy question, contact us at contact@aiacidtest.com. A postal address is available on request by emailing contact@aiacidtest.com.

What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect:

• your email address;
• the date you subscribed.

We do not ask for your name and we do not store your IP address in our own database. Our email provider (see below) may record standard delivery data such as opens and clicks.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your email solely to send you the AI Acid Test newsletter and related updates. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the signup form (and, where enabled, confirmed by a confirmation email — “double opt-in”). You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.

Who processes your data

We use the following processors to operate the newsletter:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores our own backup copy of subscriber emails (Cloudflare D1). Cloudflare privacy policy.
• Beehiiv — when the newsletter launches, it will send emails and manage the subscriber list (Beehiiv privacy policy). Until then, your email is stored only in our own Cloudflare database and no emails are sent.

These providers may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries, so your data may be transferred internationally and protected under those providers’ safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your email for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove your email from the active list and from our Cloudflare backup.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK/EU GDPR, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email contact@aiacidtest.com or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all future emails and counts as withdrawing your consent.

Cookies

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; it is privacy-first, sets no cookies, and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you.

Children

The newsletter is intended for adults and business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change. Material changes affecting how we use your email will be communicated by email where appropriate.
